* PRIOR TO YOUR INITIAL ASSESSMENT
After you have made your booking, we will send you links to forms you can fill in on-line, or print off and fill in by hand.
These forms are important as they will provide valuable information to your Exercise Physiologist or Physio.
This way we have time to keep your first session nice and friendly but still record your baseline status efficiently!
(If you are not great with computers, don't worry, you can fill the forms when you get here - we will just ask you to come a bit earlier.)
More complex cases may require more time. If this is the case, an additional 1:1 session may be required.
WHAT TO WEAR
Please wear clothing you can move in freely. Loose fitting pants, leggings, shorts are best. Avoid dresses and tighter pants like jeans.
WHAT TO BRING
Always bring a water bottle!
If you need medication on hand, like Ventolin or similar, make sure you bring it.
If you are diabetic, please bring suitable blood sugar levels! -
make sure you have had a suitable snack 30min prior or a meal 1-3hrs prior to the Group Session.
Participating in the strong bones program has made me more confident in my physical strength and more hopeful for the future as I age. It has given me consistency in my approach to living with osteoporosis and it ‘s encouraging to see improvement.

It’s the first time that I’ve looked forward to doing exercise classes They are fun, inspiring and … good for me! It feels great knowing that I’m getting stronger. Jay is fabulous, caring, kind and knowledgeable I feel safe under his care and enjoy.
I feel very positive about attending the strong bones program. I enjoy being part of the group, being able to meet our own targets while all focusing on gaining strength and supporting each other. The program is a great motivator, highly recommend.
